Now entering the new month of March, the madness has begun! Basketball fans everywhere will be watching these back to back games all in March. I guess that’s why they call it March MADNESS because it’s completely INSANE! Who has time to watch ALL those basketball games?! Craaazzzyyy!

Today is February 22nd, and it’s also National Blue Shirt Day! So if you’re reading this, consider wearing a blue shirt today!

Two days of nice weather, sunny, warm…. ish. Then the next day it drops down to 30 degrees Fahrenheit! Now we’re having an ice storm! Though it’s not exactly perfect weather, school might get canceled! 🙂

Seeing as how it’s Valentine’s Day you just might be able to figure out what this post is about. What’s that you say? This post is about Valentine’s Day? Now what would make you think that?! Jeez, there are a lot of crazy people in this world, what a weirdo, thinking this was a post about Valenti- Oh wait a minute! This IS a post about Valentine’s Day! How could I forget?! So here we go, what I have been meaning to type this whole time, is coming up after this commercial break!

And we are back! What I have been TRYING to say all along is, HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!!!!!!!!! 😀 😀

I’m so excited for the vacation I’m going on with my friend and her family and my mom. We are all going to Michigan to go snowmobiling for a whole weekend! There’s lots of great trails to go on and it’s going to be so much fun! I also get to miss 2 days of school! 😀

I have spent all day with my mom and dad, sledding down hills. I live on top of one big hill and there’s the backside, very steep, the front, very downhill, and there’s one in the distance that’s still part of my yard that’s probably the biggest. So basically, I have a lot of hills to choose from. So what do I do? Sled down all of them! Covered in 3 inches of smooth, slick ice with a small amount of snow on top, I’m having fun on the hills. I’m enjoying my school cancellation 😉

I am such a procrastinator. I have been meaning to tell everyone here that the Winter Dance was canceled. I had the dress all ready to go too. I was so excited but then they cancel it because of the weather. Everyone thought they were going to reschedule it but they never did and never will. Some people say that they might have a Valentine’s Day Dance instead but it’s not official. What makes me really made is that after Jr. High dance (my dance) was canceled, next Saturday was the High Schoolers dance which didn’t get canceled. I really hope they make that Valentine’s dance happen.

Saturday, January 22nd, will be one of the most important days of my sixth gradeness! The Winter Fest dance is coming up and I’m so excited because I got a new dress 😀 AND (wait there’s more) I have someone to dance with, my boyfriend!!!!!! 😀 😀 😀
My dress is black with a bunch of white polka-dots and it’s strapless but ties in the back. SO EXCITED!!!

Exams are here for the middle schoolers. Next week will be the math, science, social studies, reading and any other class you can think of EXAMS. Not looking forward to them. 🙁

3… 2… 1 HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
It is now 2011! So for my New Years, I stayed up until midnight with my parents. We turned the TV on to the channel in which it counts down and as soon as everyone yelled Happy New Years, my dad, mom, and I toasted our glasses and drank our sparkling grape juice from fancy glasses.
So I hope everyone had a great New Years and I hope 2011 will be a great year.
