Sorry I didn’t post it earlier but I was in San Diego for the week and I have some exciting stories to tell you from my trip.
I got there on Saturday and the first thing my family did was get the rental car and we drove straight to In and Out Burger. After eating we drove to where we were staying; a college dorm room with 30 year old mattresses and prison thin blankets. We were on campus due to the fact that my dad was teaching a writing class at UCSD. That’s the whole reason we went to California.
So on Sunday my mom took me to Sea Port Village where we did some shopping and then we took a bus and boat tour, a.k.a. a Duck tour. The bus drives around town until it reached the bay then it goes in the water! How cool is that? What’s to see in the water? Sea lions!! It was so cute! There were these really big fat black ones, those were the males, and there were little brown ones, those were the females. So that was fun.
On Monday I watched three firework shows at once. How? Because I could see the Seaworld fireworks, some beach’s fireworks, and another place’s fireworks from where I was standing; which was on a two-story balcony. It wasn’t the best view but y’know whatever.
On Tuesday I went to the beach.
On Wednesday I went to the San Diego Zoo and saw some really fluffy jaguars. 😀
On Thursday I went to the USS Midway Museum. It is a 45,000 ton army boat. My favorite part of it was the flight simulator. It was a pod you sat in, then it lifted up so you weren’t near the ground, then you could control the pod and make it go upside-down, spin around and do a whole bunch of stuff! It was fun because you could control it!
Then on Friday, (that was the best day) I went to Seaworld. First I rode the Atlantis, that as cool. Then my mom took me into a building, well not really a building but idk what it’s like really called, and when I looked around, I saw pictures of people with dolphins. I was confused for a minute but then my mom told me she signed us up for a session of swimming with dolphins!!!!!
I FREAKED OUT. I was so excited!!!!!!!
When we got into the water there were three dolphins but the one we saw first was named “Squirt”. He was so cute. He did tricks then we got to feed him a fish and pet him and play a cute game with him!
Then we met one named “Coco”. She was adorable! She did flips in mid-air, then sang a song, then we danced with her!!!!
OMG, then she put her head in my lap!!! Like a cute dog would! It was so amazing!
Then on Saturday I went home.
So, to get back on the topic of this post, Happy belated fourth of July! I hope everyone had a good one, and saw lots of fireworks 🙂

Okay so you guys know how when I grow up I want to be a photographer and get my pictures published in a magazine?
IT HAPPENED!
In the magazine Writer’s Digest they did an article on my dad and they used a picture I took of him in the magazine!!
HOW GREAT IS THAT!!

I hope everyone has been having a great Father’s Day, I know I have. So I’m here spending time with my whole family though some members couldn’t make it because of a softball game 🙁 but that’s okay.
So right now I’m going to go eat the angel food cake me and my mom made for a special Father’s Day dessert.

It is an LG Cosmos and it slides into a keyboard so it’s easy to text. I got a purple cover for it. IT’S AMAZING!!! I love my new phone.

So today on my first day of no school-ness (i’m not counting the weekends because we already always have those off) I’m going to the doctors. Not fun.

Why am I sorry you ask? Well it’s because I said I’d be posting on Easter….. and it’s way after Easter. But at least I’m back now!
I HAD a lot to post, but I have this problem where one day I’ll totally know something but then I forget it the next day. So basically what I’m saying is that I had a lot of good stuff to post but now I can’t remember any of it. 🙁
I can tell you though that I have missed writing on my blog, and I hope you missed it to. 🙂
So let’s start at Easter.
Easter weekend my mom and dad and I took a “vacation” (by which i mean my dad was there for “work” and me and my mom were having fun, therefore a sort of vacation. of course my dad was having awesome fun too but y’know) to Minneapolis, home of the Mall of America, which we were like a mile away from. So at the Mall of America, my mom and I rode all the rides except the scary ones (by which i mean going upside-down or even upside-downish because my mom has motion sickness) and I got a new outfit from Old Navy, then we went through a (extremely hard) mirror maze and then we went to a magic store where a guy was doing (awesome) tricks.
Okay the “work” that my dad had to do was being the guest of honor at a convention called Minicon. The person in charge of the convention became friends with my dad and the guy (who’s name I won’t say) introduced me to his son (whose name i won’t say) and we hung out in the hotel with his other friends. Sometimes we hung out in the Goddess Room, (which is amazing but I won’t tell you what it is-even though I want to- because it’s sort of a “secret club”) but anyway I had a really fun time in Minneapolis.
Now let’s go to the next weekend.
My parents had to go to Michigan that weekend so I got to stay with my aunt, uncle, and two cousins (who are sisters btw) and I had an awesome time helping my 16 year old cousin get ready for prom that night (the 21 year old was off catering at a wedding) and we did her hair all special for prom and everything. So that was fun.
Now we’ll go to yesterday. (mother’s day)
I hope everyone had a good Mother’s Day! 🙂
I know I did! My whole family went over to my grandma’s and grandpa’s house and we had a special mother’s day dinner. 🙂

Okay so that’s all the main events for now, I WILL POST LATER. Don’t worry I’m not leaving you guys again. 🙂

Due to Lent, aka Ash Wednesday, I will not be writing on here until Easter. I am giving up the internet. But on the day I’m allowed to come back, I’ll post everything that’s happened. (that’s important)
